Who are we ?

Unikashop is an online shop curated by a team of six always smiling individuals. We operate under the umbrella of UNIKATOY, which has been supplying the Slovenian market with safe and quality toys for 35 years. All these years we have been successfully cooperating with all major retailers on the Slovenian and Croatian market, so you can find our toys on almost every shelf ! In 2019, we have decided to move from physical shelves to virtual shelves. Here we can offer you a wider selection of toys, always up-to-date promotions and express delivery of toys to your door in just two days ! These are also the main cues of our vision: wide selection of toys, competitive price on the European market, facilitating the shopping experience, customer satisfaction and express delivery !

We want to make the toy shopping process easier for parents. This is done by a super-responsive team that is always ready to help, whether it’s with product demonstrations or troubleshooting problems in the buying process. WEB TRADE MANAGER – Jure

Jure is the mastermind behind our online shop. A lucky boy, he grew up surrounded by toys and still loves to play with them today. Childish ? Maybe. Jure blames a professional deformity, but you can see on his face that he enjoys it. He is always smiling and full of bold ideas, which you can usually see in the form of promo videos. Jure coordinates work processes, ensures a competitive offer, the smooth running of the online shop and is behind all the promotions that our valued customers enjoy. He is more relaxed than serious by nature, so the team doesn’t know what boredom means. Jure has been an athlete since he was a little boy and needs to keep moving. His childhood love was basketball, but now he is a boxer. When he’s not working in the online shop, he loves to cook and fight.

SALES, ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO USERS – Monika

Blessed among men, our Moni often jokes. Always at least a little worried, Monika is responsible for the text and content of our website. She makes sure that the descriptions present the item well and that everything about the look and feel of the site is in order. Her friendly voice will be on the other end of the phone if you have any problems when buying or choosing an item. She is a Slovene by training, so when she is not correcting our spelling mistakes and writing texts, she is avidly reading the classics of world fiction and poetry. She is a calm soul who breathes for her little furry friends, with whom you can often see her on walks. She is undoubtedly one of the team’s main protagonists, bringing calm and serenity with her warmth and compassion to an already chaotic team of creative souls.

IT- Sebastijan

Our hidden most important member. Seba is the real head of IT solutions. Without him, all our bright ideas would remain just ideas. Seba makes sure that our website runs fast and smoothly, that the customer experience is optimal and the payment is secure. Most of the time, the rest of us just nod as he explains the complex codes he had to implement and fix to achieve just that – a working site that is user-friendly and secure. Rather than our internal server, he just has his beautiful family, with whom he loves to travel. As a counterweight to long hours of rational thinking and programming, Seba is a true artist in his spare time. For years he has been singing with his velvet voice in one of the local choirs. On top of that, he is a dedicated beekeeper.

DESIGNER – Boštjan

Boštjan is the oldest in years and the youngest in heart. Free spirit is an adjective that perfectly describes our Boškot. In the summer he fishes and camps, in the winter he hits the slopes. Whatever the season, he is always happy to sing old classics and tame the strings of his old acoustic guitar. As you can tell, Boštjan is the creative heart of our team. He takes care of the visual image of the shop, the content and the promotional material. He’s a fan of the Beatles, classic movies and long conversations – preferably on a pier in Dalamtia.

DESIGNER – Miha

The only piker in the team. Our Miha is highly committed and meticulous in character. If you want something to be perfect, you turn to him. His deep knowledge of Adobe content editing software is complemented by his playful personality – and the result is exceptional quality images and toy videos. Miha also makes sure that all our items come with appropriate warnings to ensure that all our items meet safety and quality standards. In his spare time, Miha enjoys photography, spending time with his family and cleaning – you heard that right.
